Bio.

I started Houlden Cycleworks with an ambition to work within an industry I feel very passionate about.

Being an active member of a race team and regularly competing in time trials I always built and maintained my own bikes as well as being on hand to help friends and team mates when they were having bike issues or needing advice. This gave me a good depth of knowledge and it was a natural progression to gain my Cytech certification, the bike industry standard qualification, increasing my confidence and allowing me to offer my services professionally.

As a self-confessed perfectionist, coming into the industry from a background in design brings with it a keen eye for detail, which can be lacking in the bike mechanic profession, something I’ve experienced first hand. My meticulous nature and commitment to perfection is something recognised by my customers and always appreciated.
